What is a horse rescue facility? It is a place where a horse can go and be safe. Safe from whatever harms have come its way previously. A place where medical treatment is given as necessary, where grain and hay and supplements are provided, and always fresh water. Once a horse has gone through recovery and medical attention diminishes, then it is time for training and finding out what the horse is about.

That is what should be provided for each and every horse, along with lots of TLC. This does not happen by magic.  It does not happen by wishing. It does not happen by watching. It happens by doing. It happens because someone cares enough to contribute, whether monetarily or by volunteering.

Here at Easy Street Horse Rescue we need your help. We cannot exist with just solitary actions undertaken by only one person. We cannot be sustainable unless every person who tells us what great work we are doing also tells us by helping.  The little we get for the adoption fee barely covers the basics of care for the horse.  We need the help of each and every person who reads this. Whether it is just $3.50 to feed one horse for one day, it counts. If the community cannot or does not support rescue facilities such as Easy Street then they will cease to exist.  Unfortunately we cannot operate on love alone.  Please don’t think everyone else is donating.  Please come from your heart and know you are doing what you can do. That is all one can ask. If everyone does that then more horses can be helped.  And there are so many that need help. We need you to help us help them.
