TOWN OF FLORIDA -- In a role reversal Saturday, the horses watched the people run at Easy Street Horse Rescue. The inaugural Run for Horses event was held to raise funds to pay for hay for the winter.

Easy Street Rescue's Booth was located just outside the Arena and next to the Auction Area. We had different horses each day with us. For the Parade of Breeds on Sunday, Kevin's Lot, a Standardbred was there to represent his breed and Easy Street. He was under harness with the equipment and d...irection of the Diamond Family who adopted Bert also a Standardbred. | |

Easy Street Horse Rescue attended the Sanford Farms Open House - Sat Sep 11
The Sanford Farm was a very large thoroughbred farm with a huge racetrack that covered the Price Chopper and Walmart grounds in Amsterdam. If you've never seen the inside of these barns then next year this a visit you must make. They are made of solid mahogany and are absolutely gorgeous!
We are brought two horses, Bella and Kevin. People visited all day, and the Feed the horses raffle went well. Thank you to everyone who came by to visit. For the winners of our Feed the horses raffle: Please click here! | |

Fonda Fair...the first week of Sept 2009
Easy Street Rescue brought two wonderful horses (Ginger and Dillon) for our 3rd annual visit to the Fonda Fair in Montgomery County! They stayed at the fair for seven days.
