Shea is a 3 year old Welsh Cross Pony gelding 

Shea is a very sweet, spunky and courageous little pony that is VERY green-broke under saddle and ready to continue his training. He has beautiful movement and seems to float at a trot or canter. He's a great prospect for a hunter/jumper pony or 3-day eventer.  His confirmation is very nice, well balanced and in excellent form.

Shea is a rescue from the Camelot Auction Feed Lot. He went through on 4/16/10, hip#570, was ridden in ring at walk/trot. Shea was sponsored out of the feed lot (just before transport to slaughter) by Kelly, whom sponsored his rescue complete with transportation, quarantine time and Vetting.  We believe Shea was gelded just before or after the auction, and still may have a higher testosterone level than normal for a few months.  In addition he has tendencies to strike out with his front legs and sometimes rear when he does not want to be led. At other times he is the perfect pony and does whatever you ask.  These tendencies may have to do with being spoiled when a youngster as he is so cute. His age is estimated to be about 2.5-3 years old.  A good trainer will find he’s an excellent pupil as he learns fast.

Shea is inquisitive and wants to know what is going on at all times and greets all visitors. Nothing frightens him!
