Horse Thoughts

Dear Easy Street,

I am searching for a horse that was sold west of your location last spring. He is an APHA sorrel overo gelding, just shy of 16 hands. Foaled 1995, registered as Titan Mr Samson, out of Miss Samantha by Genuine Titan. He's trained in cutting but has been just a trail horse for the last couple years.

I own one of his sons and had been looking for my horse's parents for several years now. I only found Samson's sale ad after he had been sold in January. His last owner directed me to a livestock dealer in Greene, who told me they had already sold him. I was able to track him to another dealer in Utica, but this one told me he had again been sold last May.

With the economy and horse market being as bad as they are right now, I'm worried he may be neglected or end up at an auction. If he should come into your custody, would you contact me so I can apply to adopt him? I attached two photos that show his markings. He's changed hands a few times in the last several years, and I'd like to offer him a permanent home with his son. I live down in Albany but board in Altamont, and I have no problem with a site-visit. I also have plenty of references from fellow boarders and our vet.

Thanks for reading,
